With an empty net, the Florida Panthers escaped Edmonton with a 3-3 draw with the Edmonton Oilers in Game 2 of the Stanley Cup Final. The Oilers led 1-0 after the first period but 114 seconds of power-play time happened in the second when Evan Bouchard went off.

Mattias Ekholm scored for the Oilers and Niko Mikkola and Aaron Ekblad on an empty net had the Panthers other two goals. Stuart Skinner started for the Oilers but was pulled after the third goal for Jack Campbell, who stopped all 11 shots he faced. Bobrovsky saved 27 of 30 shots.

Game 3 is set for Monday in Sunrise, Fla. The series is tied 1-1.
